We were very pleased to have Eric from Croydon College with us to understand both the processes involved in designing and manufacturing large format point of sale as well as observing and talking to staff.

Eric comments:

“I had an interesting week knowing what goes into creating the promotional displays we see in shops as well as getting a better understanding of the working environment.”

Megan Simmons – Work Placement Officer at Croydon College adds:

“At Croydon College our students get the opportunity to take part in a 5-day work experience with local employers to develop soft skills and industry knowledge, as well as gaining an invaluable insight into the working world.

Work Experience is an important way for young people to spend time with an employer that can broaden their knowledge on industry sectors which can help inform and shape a young person’s career decision with the experience they receive.”
