Wilmot-Budgen is committed to developing the skills and expertise of its staff to support their personal development and ensure the best possible service to our customers.
Currently Gemma Sanford, Wilmot-Budgen’s receptionist, is studying for an NVQ in Print Administration. This will help Gemma develop her knowledge of the print industry and health and safety guidelines, as well as specific administration duties.
In April last year, Lyndon Daniel passed the first stage of his print apprenticeship. This year he is looking to achieve level 2 of the apprenticeship, covering Digital Print, with one more stage after this.
In addition to print-specific skills, the apprenticeship includes a Technical Certificate that covers Health and Safety, employment rights and responsibilities, productivity, problem solving and other key areas.
